Town Council

Meet Our Council:

Mayor Jason Roberts: 

  • The Honorable Jason Roberts was first elected to council in 2005, where he served as Deputy Mayor from 2005 to 2009 and has been re-elected in the past three terms, serving as the Mayor of the Town of Triton from 2009 to present. Mr. Roberts has also served on other volunteer groups such as the Triton Tourism Association and a member of the Green Bay Star Program.

Deputy Mayor Pat Williams

  • Mr. Pat Williams was first elected to council in 1989 where he served as a councilor until 1993.  Mr. Williams was again elected for two terms starting in 2001 to 2009. Mr. Williams has also volunteered with the Triton Recreation Commission and Triton Caplin Cod Festival Committee. Presently, Mr. Williams was re-elected in 2013 and 2017, and is presently serving as the Deputy Mayor of the Town of Triton.

Councilor Harvey Henstridge

  • Mr. Harvey Henstridge was once employed by the Town of Triton as it’s Town Manager for a 30 plus years of service. and volunteered time with the Triton Ambulance Service as its Committee Chairperson. Upon retiring from the Town Manager position,  Mr. Henstridge became interested in becoming a councilor. Mr. Henstridge was elected in 2017.

Councilor Stedman Rideout

  • Mr. Stedman Rideout is a long time volunteer with the Three Islands Regional Fire Rescue, serving  for 30 plus years with the Department. During his tenure on the fire department, he held the responsibility for fundraising overseer, and now holds the title of Assistant Fire Chief. Mr. Rideout was elected to council in 2017 for his first term.

Councilor Doretta Strickland

  • Mrs. Doretta Strickland is the third woman to be successfully elected to the Triton Town Council. Mrs. Strickland is a long time volunteer with the Triton Recreation Commission, Triton Tourism Association and Triton Caplin Cod Festival Committee, where she has held the position of chairperson of each committee. Mrs. Strickland was first elected in 2009 and is currently serving her third term as Councilor.

Councilor Leon Strickland

  • Mr. Leon Strickland is a long time volunteer with the Triton Recreation Commission, Triton Tourism Association, and Triton Caplin Cod Festival Committee. Mr. Strickland was elected to council in 2017, where he is serving as councilor and chairperson of the Triton Ambulance Service.

Councilor Joseph Saulnier

  • Mr. Joseph Saulnier was first elected to council in 2021. Mr. Saulnier is currently an active volunteer with the Triton Recreation Commission, Triton Caplin Cod Festival Committee, as well as a member of the Sunshine Network.
